ICC World Test Championship: The ICC World Test Championship is a tournament organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) to determine the world champions in Test cricket. It was introduced in 2019 and is contested by the top nine Test-playing nations over a two-year cycle, culminating in a final match between the top two teams.
During the cycle, each team plays six Test series, three at home and three away, against mutually agreed opponents. The points system is based on the percentage of points earned out of the total points available in each series. The inaugural ICC World Test Championship final was held in June 2021 between India and New Zealand at the Rose Bowl Cricket Ground in Southampton, England. New Zealand emerged as the champions, winning the final by eight wickets. The last cycle of the ICC World Test Championship began in 2021 and concluded in 2023, with the final match played between Australia and India. Australia was the winner of the 2021-2023 edition.
The third edition of the ICC World Test Championship for Test cricket takes place from 2023 to 2025. Started on June 16th, and is scheduled to end on June 2025.
World Cup: The ICC ODI World Cup is a quadrennial international cricket tournament organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the 50-over format of the game. The first ICC ODI World Cup was held in 1975 and has since become one of the biggest and most prestigious events in the cricketing world.
The tournament features the top cricketing nations from around the world competing in a round-robin and knockout format, with the winner being crowned as the world champion of ODI cricket. The number of participating teams has varied over the years, with the current format featuring 10 teams.

In 2024, the ICC Men's T20 World Cup was held for the ninth time, and it was a historic occasion as it was the first to include matches played in the United States. Venues for the competition were spread out around the United States and the West Indies in June 2024. Having won the previous edition, England came into the competition as the defending champions. A final match between India and South Africa was played and India won the 2024 World Cup by defeating South Africa.
The tenth edition of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's T20 World Cup, a biennial Twenty20 International (T20I) competition contested by men's national teams, will occur in 2026. India and Sri Lanka are expected to host it in February and March 2026.
ICC Champions Trophy: The ICC Champions Trophy is a one-day international (ODI) cricket tournament organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The tournament was first held in 1998 and was originally known as the ICC KnockOut Trophy. It was renamed the ICC Champions Trophy in 2002 and has since become one of the most prestigious ODI tournaments in the world.

Women’s Cricket World Cup: The first ICC Women's Cricket World Cup took place in England in 1973, making it the oldest global competition in the history of the sport. One Day Internationals (ODIs) are played with 50 overs each team; however, the first five championships were played with 60 overs per team from 1973 to 1993.
The twelfth Women's Cricket World Cup, known as the 2022 ICC Women's World Cup, took place in March and April of 2022 in New Zealand. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was initially planned for 6 February to 7 March 2021, however, it was postponed by one year. The International Cricket Council (ICC) said on December 15, 2021, that the competition would begin on March 4, 2022, and the final match would take place on April 3, 2022. Australia won their sixth World Cup, defeating England by a score of 71 runs in the tournament final.
The 13th Women's Cricket World Cup will take place in 2025 under the direction of the ICC. India has been selected to serve as the host nation. India will host the event for the fourth time, having done it three times previously in 1978, 1997, and 2013. The competition will only include eight teams for this one time. Australia is the current champion, having claimed the seventh title in 2022.
International Cricket Trophies of India
Cricket in India has a long history. India's national squad is presently rated first in tests, second in ODIs, and second in T20 Internationals. India won two World Championship cups in 1983 while Kapil Dev served as captain, and most recently won in 2011 while Mahendra Singh Dhoni served as captain, ending a 28-year gap.
