  Across both divisions, the event delivered steady interest thanks to its tighter scheduling, improved travel clusters and consistent match conditions. • 2024-2025 Season

  After a great performance, Uttar Pradesh won the 2024-2025 Women's U19 One Day Trophy by beating Bengal by seven runs in the final, which took place in Puducherry on January 24, 2025. Uttar Pradesh's path to glory included important wins along the way, including a five-wicket victory over Haryana and a 221-run win over Tripura. The most impressive effort came from Ira Jadhav, 14, of Mumbai. She hit an unbeaten 346 against Meghalaya, which set a new Indian U19 record and put her in the top five all-time scores for women's cricket. Major storylines included big performances from teams such as Kerala, along with rain-affected matches that tested the sides' adaptability. These accomplishments not only wowed fans but also showed that the pool of talent was growing.

  The system had a group stage with teams split into several pools. There were usually six groups, and the winners were ranked by points, wins, and net run rate.   The first semi-final of the Women's U19 One Day Trophy saw Maharashtra face Tamil Nadu at the Dr. P.V.G. Raju ACA Sports Complex in Vizianagaram on October 24, 2023. Maharashtra batted first and posted a challenging total of 229/7 in their allotted 50 overs. Their innings were marked by disciplined batting, with several players contributing crucial runs to build a competitive score. Tamil Nadu, in response, fought valiantly but were eventually bowled out for 189 in 45.5 overs. Maharashtra's bowlers were excellent; they applied pressure and took wickets when needed to help the team win by forty runs. Maharashtra's victory guaranteed them a spot in the final, showing their versatility and strategic thinking.

  The second semi-final played on the same day at Vizzy Stadium, Vizianagaram, featured a thrilling encounter between Mumbai and Baroda. Mumbai elected to bat first and managed to score 198/8 in 48.1 overs, with a mix of steady partnerships and a few aggressive knocks. Baroda, chasing a modest target, put up a determined fight but fell short by just 2 wickets, finishing their innings at 197/8 in the full 50 overs. Mumbai's bowlers produced a disciplined effort in the last overs, holding their composure to defeat Baroda by the narrowest of margins. This thrilling ending guaranteed Mumbai's place in the final game and highlighted the competition's high stakes.

  The grand finale of the Women's U19 One Day Trophy took place on October 26, 2023, at the Dr. P.V.G. Raju ACA Sports Complex in Vizianagaram, where Maharashtra squared off against Mumbai. Maharashtra, batting first, faced a formidable bowling attack from Mumbai and were bundled out for a paltry 89 runs in 33.3 overs. Mumbai's bowlers executed their plans perfectly, maintaining tight lines and lengths to dominate the innings. In response, Mumbai chased down the target with ease, scoring 92/2 in just 17.2 overs. Their openers set the tone with a solid start, ensuring a comfortable 8-wicket victory. Mumbai's sweeping victory demonstrated their excellent record and made them the season's winners of the Women's U19 One Day Trophy, demonstrating their dominance and consistency throughout the competition.
