Introduction
One of India's top domestic T20 cricket leagues for women is the Senior Women's T20 Trophy. The sole change to the format was the addition of Chhattisgarh before the 2016–17 season, which lasted until the end of the 2017–18 season.
Teams were split up into one Plate Group and five Elite Groups for 2021–2022, with the top two teams from each group and the top team from the Plate Group moving on to the knockout stages. The schedule was altered once again for 2022–2023; eleven teams advanced to the knockout stages and all teams were split into five groups. Ten teams advanced to the knockout stages in 2023–2024.
Twenty20 is the format in which matches are played. Teams gained four points for a win, two for a draw, no result or abandonment, and zero for a defeat in the most current edition of the competition. Points, wins, head-to-head record, and net run rate were the order in which the tables were arranged. Delhi, Punjab, and Mumbai have each won the competition once, but Railways has emerged as the most successful team in the game's history with 11 titles.
